Turn Your Morning Coffee Into A Powerful Super Drink

Morning routines are a powerful way to create a productive, successful life. Using your mornings to focus on yourself before attending to life duties can improve the quality of your days in many ways. Making time in the morning to hit the gym, meditate or journal can elevate your mood, health and assure you take care of “you” before taking care of others.

In the process of elevating my morning routine, I’ve been finding ways to improve my health and spirit before getting on with my day. I’ve recently been focusing on making my morning cup of coffee work harder for me.

A morning coffee created the correct way, can boost your energy, add needed nutrients and get you ready for the day. I’ve created some morning energy coffee drinks that are tasty and work better than a pre-workout or just as a kickstart to the day.

Powerful Energy Coffee Drinks: Morning Recipe

Add the following items to your morning coffee.

Non Dairy Almond Milk Creamer: I use an almond milk creamer since I cut out dairy completely for several wellness reasons. I’m seeing a lot of changes in my body after removing dairy from my diet. Everything from less bloat, better digestion, better skin and overall energy.

MCT Oil: I’ve recently discovered the benefits of MCT oil and have added it to my morning routine. I add it to my coffee or to my morning oats. MCT oil promotes weight loss and provides natural energy and fuel for the brain.

Superfoods – Mesquite Powder: A fan of adding superfoods to my die. A little bit of mesquite powder in coffee provides ad high fiber content.It is high in minerals and it has immune-boosting abilities. You also get a bit of protein from it.

Superfoods – Lucuma Powder: This superfood acts as a natural sweetener. It is a rich source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, healthy carbohydrates, vitamins including beta-carotene, niacin and minerals.
 

Collagen Powder: Collagen powder helps promote better looking skin, hair and nails. Collagen powder can help with aging skin, by promoting collagen which we lose more of as we age.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon powder for flavor. It lower blood sugar levels, reduces heart disease risk factors and makes coffee taste like a latte coffee from Starbucks.

Cocoa Powder: unsweetened cocoa powder can decreased inflammation, improved heart and brain health, blood sugar and weight control. It also makes the coffee more tasty.

Frother: Mix it all together with a frother, this blends all the powders and makes the coffee the perfect drink.
