Have you ever thought about how many things you have to get done in one given day?

Is exhausting, right?

Is get up, deal with it, or just take a nap and not even do any of it.

The daily to-do list can make life so overwhelming, sometimes you don’t know where to start.

The thoughts of what you should do first? what is most important? and the guilty thoughts of leaving another task for tomorrow can be daunting.

I’ve been simplifying my life over the past few years. It’s unrecognizable how many changes I’ve made, in order to make everything easier in my life.

This is an ongoing process, but everything use to be too much. To much time spent on getting ready. Too many plans for the weekends. To many friends and family events. Too much of everything.

Simplifying my life has made me happier. Less fuss and more enjoying the moment.

Here are some of the tips to simplify your life.

1. Focus on one goal at a time:

When you focus on one goal at a time you are able to accomplish more in the long run. I’ve set multiple goals in the past and that became overwhelming and slowed down my progress. Then I decided to cut those down and really hone in on what is important. Select ONE big goal per year, and focus on doing everything possible to reach it, you’ll accomplish even more in the long run.

2. Take a social media break:

Watching everyones accomplishments day by day can negatively affect how you view your own progress. Comparison is the thief of joy and since no one on social media details their failure, everything seems perfect from the outside looking in. Take full social media breaks and when you find yourself scrolling and comparing your life, log off and enjoy where you’ve come from and where you’re going.

3. Simplify your wordrobe:

Making your wardrobe simpler and throwing out anything that you haven’t worn in years will help make life easier. Getting ready in the morning will be less of a hassle, and you’ll avoid the morning stress that comes with getting ready.

4. Schedule “you” time:

Taking care of yourself will help you avoid getting sick as well as reduce stress. Whether is going to the gym, taking time to clear your head or getting a massage, this time will help you clear you mental thoughts and make you feel better about yourself.
