Eyebrows are such an important part of completing a makeup look. So why do so many people neglect them? I know eyebrows can seem intimidating but with the right tools anyone can up their brow game.
Brows are usually one of the fist things people notice when they look at someone else’s face — so it’s important to have them well groomed.
When I only have 5 Minutes to do my makeup, eyebrows are definitely at the top of the must-do list.
My Current Eyebrow Routine Involves:
1. Cleaning the brow, I like using a grooming tool such as Ardell ‘Brow Time & Shape Grooming Tool’.
2. Shaping the brow using any of the products listed below.
3. Touching up any left over product under or above the brow. I use a concealer similar to my skin color (foundation works as well) to perfect the top and bottom of the brow. Maybellin ‘Fit Me’ concealer works great for this. This step is so important!! It truly changes the overall look of the brow.
Some eyebrow products that will transform your brows:
Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘DipBrow Pomade’: This product is extremely long lasting and smudge proof. There are a lot of shades to choose from and as all Anastasia products is extremely pigmented.
Maybelline ‘Brow Precise Shaping Pencil’: Creates perfect naturally shaped brows. I love that it brings a brush to brush the eyebrow hairs and help spread the product. The color goes on smoothly but there are not a lot of colors to choose from.
Wet and Wild ‘Brow Kit’: This brings 2 colors, plus a glossy gel like one. It also includes a small applicator angled brush and tiny tweezers. You only need a tiny bit of color and it blends in with your eyebrow hairs really well. I use this product during the work week and the price is unbeatable at $3.99.
Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Brow Wiz’ : This product really helps you define the brow hairs more then the pomade. There are a lot of shades to choose from and I love the retractable tip so no need to sharpen it.
