Doing a pre-shampoo hair mask, is a great way to add hydration to your curls before a wash. My curls look way better when I do weekly masks, and get regular trims.

Curly hair needs as much hydration as possible. Curly hair is especially susceptible to humidity, and keeping it hydrated is important for it to look it’s best. I love pre-poo options and deep conditioning masks. This week I didn’t feel like using a store bought mask and decided to create one at home.

Below are a couple of mask options I’ve used before, incorporate oils and solids. Combine each mask ingredient into a paste and spread it on your hair, focusing on the end. Leave for 30 minutes then wash your hair.
