Draya’s Obsessed With This Skin Ingredient, And So Are We.

Draya Is Obsessed With This Skin Ingredient

I’m all about reading the ingredients found in products before I buy them. When I’m at Sephora is no different, I spend tons of time reading the back labels with ingredients. I recently did a Sephora run and got some new products I will share if they live up to the hype.

I scrolled through Instagram recently and found Draya sharing some of her nighttime routine and took a screen shot of a product she is obsessed with. This is a product I’ve tried before and I loved that a celebrity is also a big fan.

The Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream by Peter Thomas Roth. I’ve used Peter Thomas Roth products before,  this same water cream and his gold mask and eye patches. His products are great and always work well on my skin.

Draya shared she uses the entire Water Drench Hyaluronic acid line. She uses the cleanser, serum and moisturizer. The Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream has great reviews on Sephora. It has a concentrated 30 percent Hyaluronic acid for dryness. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin retain moisture, creating a plumping effect. If you have dry skin, keeping it hydrated is the best way to help aide the increase of skin cell production, as the skin isn’t busy fighting for hydration. Hydrated skin looks more youthful and makes your makeup appear dewy and flawless. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to draw and hold water in the skin and helps keep it moisturized for a longer time after you apply it.

Harper’s Bazaar Says:

“Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. The molecule holds a thousand times its weight in water to not only retain all that moisture in our skin, but also prevent all that moisture from evaporating into the air, according to Dr. Lily Talakoub, a dermatologist at the McLean Dermatology and Skincare Center.

Here’s why it’s vitally important to add it to your daily routine: just like collagen and elastin, the amount of naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid in our bodies decreases as we get older. There are, however, ways to help stimulate production of HA in our bodies. “Diet affects the skin significantly,” says Dr. Howard D. Sobel, a dermatologist in New York City. “Eating fruits and veggies with lots of antioxidants protect the skin from inflammation in turn helps the skin retain it.”
